Hailey Loh, a national golfer for Singapore and also an NCAA Division 1 athlete for the University of Minnesota, recently joined our Be Yourself Podcast with Viaano Spruyt.
In this episode, Hailey discussed her transition from California Baptist University to the University of Minnesota, and highlighted the differences between living in the U.S. and Singapore. The conversation explored Hailey’s golf journey, starting at age 5, and her notable achievements, most recently becoming the first-ever Singaporean golfer to win an NCAA conference championship.
Hailey candidly addressed moments of performance anxiety during play-offs, reflecting on challenges and aspirations. The podcast also explored her balance between studies and golf, and also addressed myths about golf exclusivity in her home country, Singapore.
